About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our team! Responsible for the simulation and administration of radiation therapy by using a CT scanner and linear accelerator while following the prescription of a radiation oncologist. The position is part of the Rad Oncology department and is scheduled as PRN at St. Francis Hospital located in Litchfield, IL.

Requirements

• Associates in Radiation Therapy or graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required.
• One year experience in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
• IEMA-Radiation Therapy certification is required in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT registered in radiation therapy or eligible to take the certification exam in Radiation Therapy.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
• Experience in a clinical setting.
