About The Position
HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital is seeking a full-time Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) to ensure that all activities involving radioactive materials and equipment capable of producing radiation are performed safely and in accordance with approved policies. The RSO will implement the Radiation Safety Program, maintain compliance with the facility's Radioactive Materials License, and monitor adherence to regulations. The position requires the authority to stop unsafe procedures and report directly to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging. The RSO will also oversee departments utilizing ionizing emitting equipment to ensure safe practices.
