About The Position

The Radiation Safety & Medical Physics intern will work within the Radiology Department, supporting temporary projects and providing departmental support. This internship is an opportunity to get hands-on experience with Radiation Safety and Medical Physics duties and assignments, as well as shadowing staff to better understand various career paths and functions of the area.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program

  • Interest or experience in radiation safety and/or medical physics

Responsibilities

  • Support temporary projects within the Radiology Department

Benefits

  • Non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act
  • Salary of $20.50 per hour
  • 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift position
