W e are looking for: Radiation Oncology Veterinary Technician Proposed Schedule: Mon-Thu 8a-5p Our Radiation Oncology technicians need to have critical thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability multitask within a strong team environment. This team focuses on developing strong client and patient relationships due to many cases requiring daily treatments . You must be able to drive the MedVet experience of excellent patient care and compassion.
Requirements
- State Registered Veterinary Technician license
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior veterinary experience , previous oncology or speciality experience desired
Responsibilities
- Assist with radiation treatments and CT
- Client communication over the phone and face to face
- Manage appointments and scheduling
- Accurate and thorough documentation for medical records
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to multi-task
