About The Position

Nuvance Health Cancer Institute is seeking a full-time radiation oncologist to join a collegial practice within a well-established ACR accredited cancer center. The role involves working primarily in Carmel, with potential coverage at other local Hudson Valley sites. The candidate will engage in advanced radiation techniques and collaborate with referring providers while contributing to program development and clinical trials.

Requirements

• ABR board-certified in radiation oncology.
• Recent experience with advanced radiation techniques.
• Eligible for licensure in New York and Connecticut.
• Personable and interested in forming collaborative relationships with referring providers.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Mosaiq EMR and Cerner EMR.
• Familiarity with Raystation and Truebeam linear accelerators.
• Interest in research and clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced radiation techniques including linac-based SRS, SBRT, and use of IGRT.
• Build and develop programs within the cancer center.
• Enroll patients in clinical trials.
• Participate in tumor boards and collaborative discussions with referring providers.
