About The Position

We are seeking a Radiation Oncology Physician for a locum tenens position in Georgia. This role offers a flexible schedule with a steady 3-5 day workweek and no weekends or call required. The assignment is for 6 months with the option to extend, providing a mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage in a rural community setting. You will be supported by a strong team including radiation therapists, a dosimetrist, and a physicist on-site. The average patient load is 12 patients per day, and you will be working with advanced equipment including Versa and Infinity machines, utilizing techniques such as 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and photon beam.

Requirements

• Georgia-licensed Radiation Oncologist or IMLC LOQ holders
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within the last 5 years

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation oncology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Manage a patient load of approximately 12 patients per day
• Utilize advanced radiation therapy techniques and equipment
• Collaborate with a support team including radiation therapists, dosimetrist, and physicist
• Maintain patient records and documentation as required
