Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
Registered Nurse: TN/GA, upon hire
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Responsibilities

Leverage expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care.
Make critical assessments.
Perform skilled procedures.
Meticulously implement patient care plans.
Collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.
Perform complete physical assessment on all patients, using knowledge based on growth/development and age, including thorough history and documents in EMR.
Assess response to treatment/interventions by verbal response and physical changes and documents in EMR (Adult patients).
Recognize changes in physical condition and documents in EMR (Geriatric patients).
Assess cognitive and physical limitations (dementia, hard of hearing, immobility) to determine appropriate intervention (Geriatric patients).
Incorporate knowledge of chronic conditions with current medical status and age (Geriatric patients).
Demonstrate the ability to accurately assess and document patient status in accordance with unit standards.
Document lab results in EMR as acquired.
