Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Registered Nurse: TN/GA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled procedures.
  • Meticulously implement patient care plans.
  • Collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform complete physical assessment on all patients, using knowledge based on growth/development and age, including thorough history and documents in EMR.
  • Assess response to treatment/interventions by verbal response and physical changes and documents in EMR (Adult patients).
  • Recognize changes in physical condition and documents in EMR (Geriatric patients).
  • Assess cognitive and physical limitations (dementia, hard of hearing, immobility) to determine appropriate intervention (Geriatric patients).
  • Incorporate knowledge of chronic conditions with current medical status and age (Geriatric patients).
  • Demonstrate the ability to accurately assess and document patient status in accordance with unit standards.
  • Document lab results in EMR as acquired.
