Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital. Responsibilities: The Radiation Oncology Nurse is responsible for providing direct and indirect physical, psychosocial and spiritual care for patients with cancer and other related disease processes. The oncology nurse will also act as the patient's advocate and educator.
Requirements
- Active IA RN license
- 1 year RN experience preferred
- Oncology Certification is preferred
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills
- Team orientated approach and adaptable to change/flexible
- BLS is required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Complete 12 oncology-specific continuing education hours per year for department accreditation requirements
Nice To Haves
- 1 year RN experience preferred
