The Radar Test Engineer will perform primary responsibilities related to the system integration, test, and early-use of high-precision tracking radar systems and associated electronic disciplines. The role involves supporting early use operations on the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) radar system, performing software testing, preparing test plans, procedures, and reports, and ensuring effective communication between assigned engineers and all other participants in the integration and testing process. The engineer will also support the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule, and cost constraints, assist in early use training on the DARC radar system, and help develop innovative Test Automation solutions. Participation in comprehensive system or element level test plans and procedures, supporting test planning and readiness reviews, documenting test requirements, and reviewing system engineering documentation are also key responsibilities.

  • HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with missile defense, space tracking, or satellite operations.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with missile defense, space tracking, or satellite operations.
  • Master's degree and 3+ years of experience with missile defense, space tracking, or satellite operations.
  • Doctorate degree and 2+ years of experience with missile defense, space tracking, or satellite operations.
