We are seeking a highly experienced Radars and Sensors Subject Matter Expert with expertise in the full lifecycle of terrestrial sensor acquisitions. In this role you will directly support government leaders at the Program Manager level and higher, in support of a high national priority program. The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of progressive experience in Department of War acquisition programs, including sensor acquisitions and missile defense technologies. You will engage high-level stakeholders across multiple services and will author and present PM-level communications covering programmatic and technical topics. You must thrive in environments with little written direction and dynamically changing constraints.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in DoW operations and acquisitions
  • At least 10 years of experience in radar/sensor systems
  • Must have an in-scope DoW Top Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Aegis Combat System experience
  • SPY radar system experience (any variant)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as terrestrial sensor SME in direct support of government program office at PM/CPE/CPM levels.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with both technical stakeholders and strategic/political stakeholders, including industry partners, all military services, and relevant combatant commands.
  • Consider multi-domain impacts of technology trade spaces.
  • Liaise with sensor acquisition and test organizations from multiple services.
  • Support management of cost/schedule/performance trades for multiple products and systems.
  • Provide programmatic and technical knowledge that is informed by a comprehensive understanding of the greater mission context, DoW systems development processes, and stakeholder roles and requirements to ensure concepts, ideas, and expectations are communicated accurately and effectively among all stakeholders.
  • Travel to stakeholder engagements and fielding locations.
