Radar Operator - Missile Defense

Target salary range: $95,000 - $130,000.00
Active Secret Clearance Required to Start
Support modeling, simulation, and testing of advanced radar systems for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) through hands-on radar operations, system maintenance, and test event execution.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Active Secret Clearance required
• Associate’s Degree or Vocational Certification in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years operating missile defense radar systems
• Experience supporting MDA radar programs, ground testing, or flight test events
• Hands-on experience with HWIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) environments or fielded radar systems
• Radar Operations & Testing
• Modeling & Simulation (M&S) support
• Linux operating systems
• Microsoft Windows & MS Office Suite
• Ability to support on-site deployments and test events (travel as required)

Responsibilities

• Operate radar systems during simulation, ground test, and flight test events
• Support modeling & simulation (M&S) activities tied to missile defense radar performance
• Assist with radar system maintenance, troubleshooting, and configuration
• Coordinate daily with Program Manager and Test Event Lead for tasking, execution, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and MDA stakeholders to support mission objectives
• Participate in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing and radar validation activities
• Contribute to development and refinement of operational procedures and test execution plans
• Support deployment to operational test sites for distributed and flight test events (as required)
