Typically working 3 Rotations per year, each one is approximately 10 weeks. Working 12 hours per day, 7 days per week when at sea, 84 hours per week. Along with the rotations at sea, you’d earn 3 home (time-off) leaves each year at 7 weeks each. Seeking a Field Engineer to maintain and operate the RF systems that comprise the X-Band Radar (XBR) that is installed on the Sea Based X-Band (SBX-1) ocean-going platform. As a Field Engineer, your primary duties would include radar operator as well as conducting troubleshooting, technical analysis, and corrective actions of all radncy (RF) elements, to include receiver-exciters, transmit/receive modules, and beam forming networks for the XBR hardware. You will also support and execute radar modifications, and enhancements to the system in accordance with customer and technical specifications.
