The Radar Engineer is responsible to support radar system design and analysis and be familiar with radar capabilities such as array signal and data processing, clutter mitigation, electronic protection, search/track performance, classification and identification, etc. This candidate would use technical expertise on Radar to develop concepts and designs, evaluate feasibility of new technologies, as well as troubleshoot and resolve design, development, and operations issues. Assist the USG customer in Radar Spectrum analysis, Radio Frequency Authorization (RFA) and AIMS IFF Certification. Additional responsibilities include supporting the government development of the appropriate application process (DD 1494) for spectrum approval, supporting the development of applications for AIMS certification process for IFF components, and system integration with appropriate C2 systems. Successful applicant should have a background in radar concept, design, spectrum, and signal analysis. An understanding of Radar Spectrum radiation requirements and impact is desired. An understanding of Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing (APNT) interface definition and requirements is also desired.
