Raytheon's Field Engineering team is looking for a Radar / Coyote UAS Field Deployment Specialist to join our field MFRFS program team. Our MFRFS (Multi-Function Radar Frequency System) program is a team of diverse professionals who are responsible for the MFRFS radar systems and Coyote UAS weapon platform. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and overseeing operation and maintenance activities of RF sensor systems and the Coyote UAS weapon system in Iraq and other Middle East locations, as well as other undisclosed locations. The role will be onsite based in McKinney, TX, when not on deployment. As a Radar / Coyote UAS Field Deployment Specialist, you will be responsible for the Multi-Function RF System (MFRFS) radar systems and/or the Coyote UAS weapon platform. You will serve as a technical expert, answering all technical questions regarding the operation and maintenance of the systems. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance to the US Army soldiers to complete emplacement, tactical operation, preventive maintenance, and march order tasks. You will also be responsible for inventory control of a stock of field-level replaceable spare parts and recording all maintenance-related actions. It will be essential to align priorities appropriately and balance mission requirements with mandatory administrative tasks efficiently. You will work in austere environments at Forward Operating Bases and remote locations, providing support to all locations on a rotational basis. This position requires extensive travel, up to 100%, including Iraq and other international destinations. Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments, including a comprehensive post-offer medical examination. You must be able to deploy to remote international locations with little notification and be willing to work in environments that may include harsh living conditions and/or hostile work environments. You will need to be able to move and/or lift weights such as test equipment, ladders, tools, and cable reels weighing up to 60 pounds using proper lifting techniques or material moving equipment. Additionally, you must be able to live and work in the Middle East desert with temperatures above 120 degrees F.
