KBR’s Missile, Aviation, and Ground Systems (MAGS) division delivers mission engineering solutions for critical U.S. Army programs, specializing in aviation and ground systems, integrated air and missile defense, and threat and target systems. The analyst evaluates Guidance Performance data from Live Firings, Ground Testing, and Simulation. This requires knowledge of the Radar/Seeker signal and data processing methods, with emphasis on Seeker Target Acquisition/Track and Terminal Guidance/Endgame. Radar/Missile Uplink/Downlink communication analysis will also be required. The analyst develops Test Plans, participates in testing, writes Test Incident Reports (TIRs), and reviews TIR responses. The analyst is responsible for reviewing and monitoring Software changes to Missile Guidance and supporting functions. The analyst will become proficient in data reduction software with a wide variety of output files from both the tactical system and simulation, the specific variables within the files, and how to apply them to determine Missile performance. Analyzes Guidance performance which is integrated into other system architectures.
