About The Position

Performs a variety of radiographic procedures for diagnosis and treatment requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative. Additional Essential Job Functions: Perform imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, collaborating with physician to evaluate images and report abnormalities immediately Follow established protocols for all imaging equipment, performing all routine daily, weekly, monthly and periodic maintenance and functions checks Ensure proper supplies, appropriate medical equipment and medications are available for patient care and Par levels meet facility needs Participates in QAPI activities including participation in accreditation preparation and survey process, and maintenance of accreditation, state, and CMS standards Adheres to established facility/departmental policies and procedures Attends and participates in all applicable facility meetings,'training and development workshops Performs all other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technology program which has been accredited by an agency accepted by the ARRT.
• Must be registered by the ARRT.
• Must hold a current license from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
• Must have current BLS certification.
