About The Position

Alliance Spine and Pain Centers is looking for a Rad Tech for our Augusta location. Come join a dynamic Team! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Help patients’ with their needs and concerns. Ensure patient’s safety and comfort. Assist in transporting patients Respect the confidentiality of patient, center and physician related information. Maintain confidentiality of patient records, and use complete discretion when discussing patient information. Observe pertinent changes in symptoms of patients’ condition and take appropriate action; report to physician or charge nurse. Prep patients prior to procedure by disinfecting area intended for surgical procedure using sterile technique. Be prepared for all cases at the scheduled time. Maintain sterile field during surgical procedures. Expedite room turnover. Remove linens and trash to appropriate disposal area. Clean bed, tables and other soiled areas between cases. Terminally clean and restock Operating Room. Clean autoclave weekly and flush system monthly. Ensure accurate count of each instrument 100% of the time during large procedures. Scrub/assist in surgery. Anticipate the needs of team members in the OR. Perform C-Arm fluoroscopy assisted exams. Regularly inspect equipment to ensure it is in proper working order. Initiate requisitions for repair of equipment, when needed. Assist in training new personnel. Manage inventory. Perform all other assigned job duties by charge nurse, administrator or providers

Requirements

  • Be able to do simple math, work well with other and be able to multi-task
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of a certified surgical technology program or sufficient in-house training
  • Current BLS and other required training
  • Knowledgeable of equipment, instrumentation and supplies
  • Working knowledge of eClinical
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others
  • Ability to work independently with detail and accuracy
  • Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables

Nice To Haves

  • C-Arm experience highly preferred
