We are seeking a dynamic Radiology Tech to join our team. Your primary function is performing x-rays on patients. You will also triage patients and provide other patient care services. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is a 323-bed facility. We are located in the heart of Ocala, Florida. Our hospital is a part of Ocala Health. Our facility is an ACS Level I Trauma Center. We are the regions only Comprehensive Stroke Center. Requirements

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Must be accredited by ARRT
Must be licensed by the state of Florida

Nice To Haves

Two years of clinical experience in related field preferred

Responsibilities

PerformaccurateX-Rays as ordered by the Provider while practicing radiation safety precautions to include ALARA.
Prepare andtransmitimages to the Radiologist for over-read.
Room patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
Assistpatients and providers as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc.
Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
Transportspatients as needed.
