About The Position

The incumbent operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians and perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices, including projections, patient positioning, safe patient transfers to imaging tables and transportation. Demonstrates competency in patient care for pediatric (neonate as necessary), adult and geriatric patients. May have access to or be required to distribute drugs, needles or syringes from storage locations, (such as large stock supplies, automated dispensing units and other carts) to/within patient care areas or treatment carts as defined by hospital policy/procedure. Technologist can be required to participate in the department's call schedule to ensure coverage of weeknights, weekends and holidays. Ability to function independently in radiology workflows which include RIS/PACS systems as wells as department communication systems, phones and or any other electronic support systems. As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays and diagnostic fluoroscopy, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction. To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or Certificate from an accredited Radiology Technology Program.
  • Experience with RIS and PACS systems.
  • Clinical rotations in a hospital setting, with experience (student or professional) in routine radiographic procedures.
  • Medical Radiographer: CA.
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech (FLRAD CA)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Rad Technology and in addition to the experience requirements, two to three years experience in a hospital setting and team environment, with strong commitment to service oriented culture.
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
