About The Position

We're seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and provide high-quality diagnostic images. This role requires technical expertise, independent judgment, and a commitment to teamwork and patient advocacy.

Requirements

• Graduate of a JCERT-approved program
• Certified and in good standing with ARRT and Kansas Board of Healing Arts - Radiologic Technologist (LRT)
• Rad/CT Tech or Rad/Mammo Tech
• Knowledge of PACS, basic computer skills, and procedural scheduling
• CPR Certified

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using proper positioning, exposure, and radiation safety techniques
• Prepare patients for exams, provide instructions, and administer necessary preps or medications
• Maintain and document patient records, including electronic and paper files, PACS, and CD releases
• Transport patients safely to and from the department
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and other healthcare personnel
• Cross-train in additional imaging modalities (Mammography, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine) as directed
• Maintain professional competence through continuing education and training sessions
