This position is characterized by the ability to perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. This is a PRN (as needed) position - candidate must be available various days and hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. The candidate should also be available to work any assigned areas to include ER, portables, and OR. 2 shifts per month, minimum requirement
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
- Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- 2 shifts per month, minimum requirement
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
Responsibilities
- Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
