About The Position

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing institution. This position involves operating X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role specifically supports operating room surgeons by providing Radiology guidance of equipment and requires knowledge of OR protocols related to Radiology equipment. Responsibilities also include participating in a mandatory call rotation for after-hour cases, performing intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies, and working autonomously with indirect supervision in hospital areas. The Registered Radiologic Technologist/Screen Atlanta will also work with a female population over thirty-five years of age.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
• Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Prior experience in Operating Room procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
• Works with a female population over thirty five (35) years of age.
