About The Position

Overview We are seeking a Radiologic Technologis t I , internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I . The Rad Tech I will be conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures. This involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed . Shift’s Available: Variable Employment Type: Per Diem (PD/PRN) Hours: Variable Location : Dallas Regional Medical Center Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Competitive compensation Medical insurance benefit plan 401K Sick leave accrual Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): C onduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT scans, mammography, bone density tests, ultrasound, and other examinations following departmental protocols R esponsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed I nteract with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations M aintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history S tay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification O perate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images M aintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) #LI-MK3 Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State. 2. ARRT-R is required. 3. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations. 4. Current BCLS (AHA). 5. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred. 6. Proficient computer skills. Requirements

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • ARRT-R is required.
