About The Position

In keeping with the Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Radiologic Technologist I performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assume responsibility for specific radiographic procedures as required.

Requirements

  • One year experience as a certified Radiological Technologist.
  • New graduates, with clinical experience through approved ARRT Radiologic Technology program, will be considered on an individual basis.
  • Current ARRT certification (RG ARRT).
  • Current CRT certification (CT XRT).
  • Current CPR-AHA certification (CT CPRBLS).

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians, and the patient population.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team-oriented environment.
