About The Position

The Radiology Technologist works under general supervision to assist the Lead Radiologic Technologist in performing diagnostic procedures for patients; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel; assists with processing overread requests; and routes patients and/or their x-ray images to the appropriate PACS worklist. The Rad Tech will also peform EKGs and assist with putting on holter monitors for the Cardiology Tech. Clinic Hours are 730-530 Mon-Fri. Our clinic has no night, weekend, or holiday hours. This position may have the option to work 4 10 hour days. Requirements

• Graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology Program
• A.R.R.T. Certification is MANDATORY, LLRT should not apply for this position as many of the exams performed will not fall under their scope
• 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures as required; achieve a high level of film quality
• Be observant for film artifacts and keep them to a minimum
• Obtain patient history as needed
• Act as an agent to obtain radiologic information to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment
• Perform EKGs
• Train in Treadmill Testing
• Train in Holter monitor hookup
