About The Position

The Licensed Cardio-Vascular Technologist in the Cath Lab performs advanced practice cardiac catheterization and peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures. This role involves providing peri-procedural care and education for patients, assisting cardiologists and other specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, and maintaining records and documentation for procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Health Science.
• Degree in Radiology and/or Cardiovascular Technology.
• Licensure as an Amer Reg of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensed Radiology Technologist.
• BLS – Basic Life Support certification.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography.
• Conduct electrophysiologic studies and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Implant cardiac devices.
• Provide peri-procedural care and education for patients.
• Assist cardiologists and other specialists in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain records and documentation for procedures.
