About The Position
Rad Tech Assistants will be responsible for transport and/or escorting of patients to and from diagnostic testing areas. They will assist technologists with preparing rooms/stocking supplies, positioning, prepping patients and documenting information within the EMR. Outpatient locations only; no call, no holidays. The position involves facilitating patient flow, managing electronic images, greeting customers, prepping patients for IV access, maintaining clinical information systems, transporting patients, maintaining cleanliness, troubleshooting equipment, and complying with safety standards.
