About The Position

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• On-the-job training provided; prior clerical, computer, and healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology preferred.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification required.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Experience with medical terminology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Transport and escort patients to and from diagnostic testing areas.
• Assist technologists with preparing rooms and stocking supplies.
• Position and prep patients for imaging procedures.
• Document patient information within the EMR system.
• Facilitate patient flow and help patients complete history sheets.
• Manage electronic images and utilize computer skills for data retrieval.
• Greet customers and address their needs professionally.
• Engage in conflict resolution while maintaining professionalism.
• Prep patients for IV access under supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist or Provider.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical information systems for data entry and retrieval.
• Order and stock necessary supplies and linens.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and communicate service needs to management.
• Comply with infection control, radiation safety, and OSHA standards.
