About The Position

The Rad Imaging/Procedure Assistant is responsible for safely, efficiently, and punctually transporting patients and related items throughout the facility. This role involves assisting Radiologists and Technologists with exams and procedures across various Radiology modalities. Key responsibilities include maintaining patient confidentiality, communicating professionally with staff, patients, and visitors, and functioning both independently and as a team member, often receiving direction via phone. The assistant is also tasked with keeping their work area clean, organized, and stocked, and ensuring equipment and supplies are stored properly. Additional duties encompass assisting in invasive and non-invasive procedures, removing IVs, preparing sterile trays, and handling, transferring, and transporting specimens.

Requirements

Requires full use of arms, hands, repetitive foot motion, overhead reaching, and trunk rotation.
Involves continuous walking and movement.

Responsibilities
