About The Position

Summary: The Racking Operator must possess basic math, reading and writing skills and be committed to observe and follow all quality and safety procedures. He/She must have good time management and decision making skills. The ability to follow procedures correctly and inspect quality of work is of vital importance. Working well in teams from diverse backgrounds as both a leader and an individual contributor is required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment which contains dust and material particles in the air. Temperature in this facility can be either Cold/Hot according to certain times of the year. The noise level in certain areas of this facility is medium loud and may require hearing protection. Responsibilities

Follows detailed direction given by Racking Lead along with any other assigned duties daily.
Examines the condition of parts before beginning the instruction given via the coating traveler and reports any discrepancies to the Racking Operator Lead.
Verifies quantity of parts before and after each process.
Follows instructions on coating traveler for each part number, quantity, and any special conditions that may apply.
Moves large parts to staging area for immediate loading by e-coat crew or takes to surface prep.
Transfers and inspects small parts after coating.
Counts, packs and moves small parts to shipping area for "final" inspection by Quality team.
Packs large parts directly from e-coat line and sends to shipping area for "final" inspection by Quality Manager and team.
Delivers Zpex parts from E-Coat to Clean Room area for final cure and coating stage when needed.
Cleans and organizes racking area daily.
Specialty Duties: Ongoing training provided which includes: On the job, forklift, written and verbal training
