 The Forklift Driver / Material Handler is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other Paint Department equipment to move, locate, stack, and count materials. This role supports Paint Department operations by loading and unloading orders, organizing inventory, and ensuring materials are handled efficiently and safely.  

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED (minimum)
• Must have at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and count
• Must have demonstrated effective communication skills and the ability to be a team player
• Must have the ability to learn the job duties within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the supervisor

Responsibilities

• Prepares material for processing
• Coordinates re-work and sanding
• Moves material from one process to another
• Verifies order counts and pallet counts for accuracy
• Keeps vendor material in order
• Keep always assigned work area clean
• Perform other duties as required by your supervisor
