About The Position

The Racing Maintenance Associate is a hands-on position responsible for the general maintenance and groundskeeping of the racing facility. The role's primary duties include the maintenance of horse barns and the racetrack, as well as the upkeep of the grounds, including an RV park. This position requires someone who is comfortable with a variety of tasks, from mowing and weed eating to equipment and stall repairs. The associate must be able to work in an outdoor environment, handling objects up to 50 lbs., and should be prepared to work in different weather conditions, including heat and cold. This position is considered safety-sensitive and is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. A positive drug test result, including for marijuana, may result in a job offer being rescinded for applicants or termination of employment for current employees, even if they possess a valid medical marijuana license.
