About The Position

RaceTrac Company Overview Job Description: The Raceway Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of up to 40 Raceway convenience stores in a designated region. This individual assesses, develops protocol, and resolves maintenance issues to ensure the operability of every store at all times. What You'll Do: Resolves maintenance and services issues at Raceway convenience store locations to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increase the profitability of the company. Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service. Serves as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage equipment, and petroleum dispensing systems. Accurately maintain tools and inventory on a service vehicle Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores. Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed. Maintains knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary. When working outside, always wears a safety (reflective) vest to be more visible to motorists; wears a hard hat at construction sites. Completes API safety certification; renews Class B Operator certification regularly. Always wears steel-toe shoes/boots at any construction site. Always washes hands after using the restroom, between each work order, and before handling food service equipment or tools used to fix food service equipment. Requirements

  • 4+ years work experience preferred
  • Experience in a retail maintenance environment a plus
  • General knowledge maintenance and repair procedures a plus
  • Maintenance or repair certifications a plus
  • Basic Microsoft office knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Food and Beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred
  • Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred
