About The Position
The Supplier Recovery Manager is responsible for addressing part shortages and ensuring supplier performance aligns with Clear to Build (CTB) targets. This role emphasizes driving operational performance improvements at suppliers beyond the top 15 most impactful, with a proactive approach to prevent surprises and ensure delivery continuity. A strong understanding of engineering processes related to manufacturing is essential, as the role requires a hands-on approach to supplier management. This includes deploying to supplier locations as needed to resolve issues, enhance performance, and mitigate supply chain disruptions. The Supplier Recovery Manager plays a pivotal role in upholding GE Aerospace's commitment to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) while ensuring delivery commitments are consistently met.
