About The Position

Gerzeny's RV World is seeking dedicated and skilled Transport Drivers to safely transport R.V. Coaches and Trailers to various locations. This part-time, contract position emphasizes compliance with safety regulations and exceptional service while maintaining the integrity of the units during transit.

Requirements

• Proven experience in R.V. and or truck driving.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and trailer towing.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to hitching and unhitching of travel trailers and fifth wheel trailers.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing schedules or routes as needed.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of driving experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of R.V. experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of R.V. Vehicles, including Motorized and Towable units.
• Hitch and unhitch units as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of units.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
