The RN is accountable for utilizing the nursing process throughout the provision of patient/family care.#The RN is responsible for delegating patient care tasks and for the supervision of other patient care staff.#The RN is responsible for coordinating the care of patients and consulting other disciplines of the healthcare team as indicated.#The RN functions collaboratively with the medical staff and the other disciplines to provide and enhance patient care.#The RN adheres to all nursing policies and proactively strives to maintain and improve quality outcomes.#The RN is responsible for facilitating patient care, anticipating patient care needs, individualizing patient care and adjusting or modifying the nursing plan of care as appropriate.#The RN will possess and utilize effective technical skills for the provision of safe and appropriate care, in example, general post-op care, pharmacology knowledge, and assessment skills. All applicants will#be expected to sign a#one-year commitment#in which the nurse will work a 12-hour shift on Saturday and a 12-hour shift on Sunday, earning six bonus hours per 12-hour shift completed, for a total of 36 hours/weekend.#Weekend differential and holiday pay#apply for hours worked.#Staff members may take up to#two weekends off per year.
