As a Polyurethanes Slabstock R&D Technician at Momentive, you’ll play a hands-on role in developing and testing innovative polyurethane materials that support products used around the world. Working in a collaborative laboratory environment, you’ll prepare chemicals and polyurethane foams using established procedures, with support from experienced scientists and technicians as you grow your skills. You’ll conduct chemical analyses and syntheses, perform product performance testing, and help maintain lab equipment through routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and instrument calibration. You’ll also document test results, perform calculations, and record data that directly supports research, development, and continuous improvement efforts across our polyurethane portfolio. Your work will be structured and well-supported, while still offering opportunities to learn new techniques, take on additional responsibility, and build a strong technical foundation within a global materials science company.
