About The Position

About Scientia Vascular: Our mission is to save lives. Scientia Vascular is a leading innovator and manufacturer of endovascular medical devices. We use micromachining and microfabrication processes to manufacture products that provide physicians with enhanced performance for optimal outcomes for their patients. Position Summary Contributes to the development of medical devices. Main responsibilities are conducting product performance testing and building prototypes for evaluation.

Requirements

High School diploma
Must have at least 1 year of troubleshooting and testing experience as a technician
Computer skills including solid proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have technical writing experience
Must have at least 1 year of experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

Medical device Tech industry experience is a plus
Working knowledge of GMP, experience with ISO regulations is a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct product performance bench testing
Build or assemble prototype materials, components, subassemblies and assemblies
Construct, operate, troubleshoot, adjust, maintain and test equipment, systems or products
Perform testing and analyze data and write reports
Review or develop processing or manufacturing instructions
Maintain detailed documentation through all phases of development, testing and analysis
Record data following good documentation practices
Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision
Perform job functions in accordance with applicable GMP and ISO guidelines
Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards
Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
