About The Position

The R&D Technician role is responsible for assisting and evaluating products of finished drug production and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• A minimum of two years in the product/R&D lab environment.
• Previous experience with granulation, compression and coating equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Research and Development formulators in staging the immediate to pilot scale developmental work such as weighing of active and inactive materials and following directions to perform granulation, compression and coating operations.
• Setup, operate, clean and troubleshoot all granulation, compression and coating equipment.
• Properly and completely document activities on batch record.
• Process product using granulation, compression and coating equipment.
• Weigh raw materials per specifications.
• Clean and maintains rooms and equipment.
• Material handling.
• All other job-related duties.
