About The Position

The position supports R&D Managers with day to day tasks as needed. The role involves following all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with quality systems and cGMP programs, and conducting research on raw materials, allergens, country of origin, sub-ingredient lists, vegetarian status, etc. The individual will ensure that required Technical Specifications are completed and submitted to the appropriate Salesperson or customer, and will complete, populate, and maintain the Raw Material Specifications and Finished Good Specification Sheets (FGSS) document repository. Additionally, the role requires referencing and utilizing internal and external databases to answer customer inquiries and maintaining assigned databases. This is a non-supervisory role with a strong emphasis on learning and adapting to new tasks and procedures.

Requirements

  • Applicable Associate's degree or minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • No certifications or licenses required.
  • Moderate math skills.
  • Moderate reading skills.
  • Basic computer skills in MS Office.
  • Moderate language skills.
  • Moderate writing skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and procedures.
  • Ability to perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned absence.

Responsibilities

  • Support R&D Managers with day to day tasks as needed.

  • Populate and maintain assigned databases.
  • Assist other groups within R&D as directed.
