About this role: Works with project teams, R&D technicians, engineers and scientists in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with a high school degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
Responsibilities
- Contribute original concepts to the development of advanced prototypes and fixtures.
- Apply engineering statistics software (i.e., DOE) to characterize processes.
- Create engineering drawings using Deneba Canvas Graphics and CAD Software and create complete R&D engineering documentation following established procedures.
- Write and/or verify specifications.
- Analyze data, calculate statistics, and prepares complete product test reports.
- Validate equipment and new processes.
- Maintain complex test equipment, train staff on its operations, and schedule necessary calibration or preventative maintenance.
- Actively participate in project team meetings.
- Coordinate and monitor project task execution and project progress against deliverables.
- Identify additional or new vendors to identify and acquire necessary supplies, materials, equipment and tools for specific projects.
