Overview: The purpose of the internship is to provide meaningful professional hands-on experience to students with leadership potential and proven academic performance. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities. As part of the R&D Acute Care New Product Development team, the Systems Engineering Intern will be involved in develoment activities of the next generation GEM blood gas analyzer. The Intern will have opportunities to build prototypes, define and execute test plans, run whole blood samples on benchtops and/or full systems, analyze performance data, develop test methods, report on results, advise on architecture, and other related activities associated with early development work.
