Job Title: R&D Staff Engineer, Equipment Development Job Code: A011.5321 Job Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Type: Full-Time Rate of Pay: $143,000 - $165,000 Job Duties: Lead the development and qualification efforts of medical device technologies assembly lines to meet cost, quality and performance targets. Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to drive product and process solutions to market. Provide technical support to drive development, qualification and stabilization execution. Apply Design for Manufacturing & Assembly techniques, Lean Six Sigma process knowledge, and the Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) tools to drive product design to its most efficient outcome. Apply engineering principles to resolve technical challenges, and leverage project management practices to drive a complex project portfolio. Write Protocols and Completion Reports in compliance with FDA regulations that withstand audit scrutiny. Develop and maintain manufacturing line including troubleshooting and solving critical issues to optimize scrap and efficiency. Leverage mechanical skills related to working with machine shops. Use CAD (Computer Aided Design) to create drawings and relate ideas to the machine shop for manufacturing of production parts. Requirements
