About The Position

Requirements

• M.S. in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related discipline required.
• Two or more years of experience in a laboratory technician role, including experience gained during M.S. thesis work.
• Demonstrable experience with biofluid sample handling and analytical techniques.
• Excellent organizational, wet lab (pipetting), and laboratory skills, including ion chromatography and ELISA assays.
• Pro-active work style with the ability to multitask and adapt to a high-performance environment.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with various personalities.

Nice To Haves

• Laboratory experience of at least 1 year (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory-based clinical research studies at GSSI's satellite lab in Bradenton, FL.
• Handle and analyze biological fluid samples as a Biochemistry Technician for the clinical research program.
• Assist colleagues in day-to-day execution of research projects, including data collection and data entry.
• Write internal reports based on research findings.
