Job Description: Working in a team environment and supporting R/D and Manufacturing team members to support all aspects of prototype planning (purchases, inventory analysis, kit prep, etc.) Participate in prototype reviews with engineering team members. Responsibilities could include supporting R/D team members with SKU/BOM design documentation requirements Partners with R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain groups to successfully introduce new products into world-wide production. Product Engineers interface with R&D, factory Process engineering, Test Engineering and Reliability engineering to support NPI introductions.

Requirements

Associates degree, or bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experiences.
Typically, 1-4 years’ experience
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Highly motivated team member to work within R/D organization to support a wide verity of work opportunities.

Responsibilities

Participates as a member of project team of other product engineers to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high-quality manufacturing solutions for products from new- product introduction through end of lifecycle.
Implements specified changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced partners for product development and manufacturing.
