We are recruiting for a Product Development Engineer to join our Abbott Heart Failure Research and Development team in Atlanta, GA, where we are focused on helping people with heart failure manage their health and ultimately change and save lives. The Product Development Engineer will be primarily working on the CardioMEMS HF portfolio, which remotely monitors changes in pulmonary artery (PA) pressure, an early indicator of the onset of worsening heart failure, to aid physicians in preventing worsening heart failure, lower heart failure mortality rates, and improve quality of life for our heart failure patients. The role is responsible for executing product development tasks for next generation of CardioMEMS implantable sensor using best practice MEMS engineering methods to ensure quality, reliability, and manufacturable MEMS-based sensor designs. This person will part of development efforts for the next generation product, including product design, requirements definition, design documentation, and product testing, verification, and validation.
