About The Position

We are looking for an experienced R&D Manager to lead and elevate our research and development initiatives, driving innovation and efficiency across our technical operations. In this role, you will oversee the systems that power a large network of Twitter (X) accounts, managed through proprietary software across multiple virtual Windows servers. Each server handles multiple accounts, and due to the technical complexity, daily interruptions or errors are expected. We need a proactive, hands-on leader who can take full ownership of monitoring servers, ensuring smooth software operation, and supporting account-related tasks—keeping our systems running reliably and efficiently at all times. Requirements

  • Proven experience working in fast-paced, technically complex environments where quick problem-solving is essential.
  • Practical experience and adaptability are more important than formal education; formal degrees are not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, with a focus on Twitter (X).
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, perform routine account actions, and resolve common access issues independently.
  • Basic technical skills with computers and virtual environments (e.g., restarting systems, managing files, following operational workflows).
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze causes, and proactively keep processes running smoothly.
  • Comfortable working remotely and reporting progress regularly to a manager.
  • Confident user of Windows OS.
  • Familiarity with social media management interfaces (posting, editing profiles, uploading media, managing links).
  • Language skills: Russian (native or fluent preferred); English (basic to intermediate, sufficient to navigate interfaces, system messages, and instructions).
  • Availability: Full-time (8 hours/day) with a stable internet connection; remote setup required.
  • Preferred: time zone within 1–3 hours of Cyprus.
  • Willingness to respond quickly to urgent operational tasks during working hours.
  • Highly organized, responsible, and proactive, with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fast learner with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Stress-resistant, comfortable troubleshooting systems frequently.
  • Strong sense of ownership over assigned processes and outcomes.

  • Advantageous: experience managing multiple accounts, dashboards, or systems simultaneously.
  • Experience performing repetitive but critical tasks accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the daily operation of servers and internal software used for managing social media accounts.
  • Ensure uninterrupted performance of systems by identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • React quickly to system failures, errors, or interruptions and restore normal operation.
  • Perform routine operational tasks related to Twitter account management.
  • Handle common account access and authorization issues independently.
  • Make basic updates to accounts when required (profile information, media, links).
  • Manage multiple systems and tasks in parallel while maintaining accuracy.
  • Report system status, incidents, and completed tasks to the direct manager on a regular basis.
  • Execute urgent or time-sensitive tasks during the workday as they arise.
  • Follow established workflows and contribute to process improvements when possible.
  • Take full responsibility for assigned systems and ensure their stable operation.
