Make Your Mark at Prysmian! Overview: This position is responsible for conducting the screening and certification testing of experimental cable designs. This work is conducted under the direction of the laboratory manager, using industry standards and laboratory work procedures.

Requirements

  • Able to follow all safety procedures and identify risks in day to day work

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Associates Degree in chemical or mechanical discipline and/or relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical, electrical, and flame testing of cable samples in support of industry certifications
  • Participate in external audits by demonstrating testing expertise and knowledge of the laboratory quality management system
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies and working area.
  • Perform minor equipment repairs and calibrations.
  • Commission new test equipment with the support of laboratory management
  • Maintain records and issue reports on test results generated
  • Write and/or provide feedback on testing procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
