About The Position
The R&D Lab Technician will provide valuable support in carrying out the day-to-day R&D activities within the R&D team of EWL. The R&D Lab Technician will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the R&D field, including making batches, maintain a lab notebook, checking stability samples, updating stability reports, packing of samples and maintaining clean laboratory environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (or Biology that has had chemistry and organic chemistry classes).
- Well organized and highly detail oriented.
- Must work well with others and communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10-15 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a lab notebook.
- Make batches.
- Follow up with on-going stabilities.
- Packing of samples.
- Attend in-house vendor presentations.
- Enter formulation into the internal company system.
- Review results with supervisor.
- Analyze lab batches by measuring physical parameters, such as viscosity and pH.
- Maintain well-organized component room.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
