About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic R&D Lab Manager to lead our research and development laboratory focused on infrastructure and architectural coatings . This role requires a strong blend of people leadership , project management expertise , and technical knowledge to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will foster a collaborative environment, motivate teams, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry , Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field .
Minimum 7+ years of experience in R&D, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record in coatings technology (infrastructure and architectural applications preferred).
Strong project management skills (PMP certification is a plus).
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

People Management Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of scientists, technicians, and support staff. Create a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
Project Management Oversee multiple R&D projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Implement best practices in planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
Technical Leadership Provide expertise in Energy & Infrastructure coatings , including formulation, testing, and performance evaluation. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Motivational Leadership & Team Engagement Inspire and energize the team to achieve ambitious goals and deliver innovative solutions. Organize team-building activities and foster a culture of collaboration and creativity.
Effective Communication Communicate project updates, technical findings, and strategic plans clearly to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Prepare and deliver presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and strategic partners. Represent the R&D function in cross-functional meetings and external collaborations.
